School Meals

Thanks to the Mayor of London’s initiative, every primary school child is entitled to a free school meal every day. This means your child can enjoy a healthy, freshly cooked lunch at no cost to you.

We offer a selection of hot and cold meals every day, along with a fresh salad bar. All of our food is Halal, and everything is freshly prepared on-site each day by our team of qualified staff.

Please click below for the menu, which works on a 3 week cycle.

The benefits of school dinners are clear:

  • Nutritious and balanced: meals are planned to meet strict government standards on salt, sugar, and overall nutrition.
  • Great variety: there is always a choice of hot meals each day, including a meat and vegetarian option, as well as jacket potatoes and sandwiches. A fresh salad bar is also available daily.
  • Convenient and free: families save both time and money with no need to prepare lunches at home.
  • Supporting learning: a hot, balanced meal at midday helps children to stay focused and make the most of their afternoon learning.

We understand that some parents may worry about whether their child will eat what’s on offer. To support this, children may bring a small healthy snack.

Our aim is simple: to make sure every child has access to the best food possible to support their health, wellbeing, and learning. We are very proud of the high quality of our school meals, and we are confident that the children will really enjoy them once they try the full range of options available.

PACKED LUNCHES

Packed lunches will only be permitted in exceptional circumstances, such as for medical or dietary reasons confirmed by a healthcare professional, or where a specific need has been discussed and agreed with the school in advance. In these cases, packed lunches must reflect the same nutritional standards as our school meals — balanced, healthy, and low in sugar and processed foods. Staff will continue to monitor this to ensure consistency across the school.

If your child has a packed lunch, please provide a clearly labelled lunch box and put the drink in a plastic container (no glass bottles). As we are committed to healthy eating please click here to see what a healthy lunch box should contain.
