Autumn Term

Our children have been loving their time outdoors, where learning comes alive through play and exploration. They’ve been getting creative with natural materials, discovering patterns, shapes, and numbers in the world around them, and building curiosity through hands-on experiences. From sensory play with sand, water, and textures to shared adventures with friends, each day is filled with laughter, imagination, and meaningful moments that support learning, friendship, and a real connection to the environment.

Spring Term

Reception has been learning about growth this half-term, including the life cycles of various animals and plants. We explored capacity in the outdoor area by using different methods to collect water. Science Week provided us with the opportunity to learn new vocabulary and experiment with colours. We also participated in World Book Day, where we dressed up as our favourite book characters.
